Charles DuVal Roberts

Charles DuVal Roberts (June 18, 1873 – October 24, 1966) was a United States Army Brigadier General who was a recipient of the Medal of Honor for valor in action on July 1, 1898 near El Caney, Cuba.
==Early life and career==
Roberts was born at Cheyenne Agency, South Dakota. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1897. He also graduated with honors from the Army School of the Line (1912), Army Staff College (1913), and U.S. Army War College (1920). He retired from active duty on June 18, 1937.〔
Roberts married Eugenia Bradford, who was born at Fort Dodge, Kansas in 1878, on November 16, 1898. She died at Williamsburg, Virginia in 1951.〔
